Maxine Cass is a Southwest Oregon-based freelance stock and assignment photographer, writer, and guidebook author whose travel and nature images have appeared in publications worldwide, including National Geographic Traveler; GEO French, German and Russian editions; Woman's World Magazine; and FamilyFun. Elegant, graphic images and client-tailored visuals are hallmarks of her unique vision.

Born on the Stanford University campus in Palo Alto, Maxine earned degrees in Medieval Studies and History from the University of California, Santa Barbara and later served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal. Her travel destination guidebooks cover San Francisco, Northern California, California, the Pacific Northwest, Western Canada, Florida, Mexico and India.

Maxine's vibrant photography and stewardship of the land and forest reflects a passion for the natural world, distinct destinations, and the people and creatures who inhabit the planet.
